One the lesser know features of the Ruler Tool, is the ability to quickly straighten out your crooked photos. In this “Hidden Gem”, I show you how to avoid many unnecessary steps.

– In your Tools Bar, on the left, select your Ruler Tool. If you don’t see it, it’s probably hiding under the Eyedropper Tool. (Hold your mouse button down to reveal the other Tools).
– Once the Ruler is active, drag out a line across the object that should be straight. In this case, it was the horizon.
– When the Ruler has been drawn out, press the Straighten button on your Options Bar, at the top.

It’s that simple!
