As of today, future Photoshop tutorials are on hold. It seems that many of my viewers are unhappy with the quality of my recent content, and have made sure to express their feelings. While I certainly understand their point of view, I feel they’re missing mine.
My current situation
Until recently, I was creating Photoshop tutorials on YouTube for a living. I was 100% dedicated to creating in-depth content that viewers would love. Unfortunately, these videos took time – some taking a full week to perfect.
However, at the current point in time, I’m working a full-time job, leaving me with very little time to work on tutorials, which is the reason my recent videos have been shorter, and in some people’s opinion, ‘terrible’.
Content takes time
As I mentioned, my videos take time to produce, just like any content. The in-depth tutorials that you all love can take upwards of a complete week to plan, script, record, and edit. This is time I unfortunately don’t have at my disposal anymore.
How YOU can help
The state of my YouTube channel isn’t what it used to be. There was a point where the ad revenue alone was enough to support my content. That’s not the case anymore. With the little revenue that’s coming in, dedicating a whole weekend to creating a video just isn’t possible.
That’s where you come in! If you’d like me to continue creating Photoshop tutorials, head over to Patreon and set up a monthly contribution. Even $1 per month can help make this happen!
Like crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter, Patreon allows me to offer perks to those that support my content. Depending on how much you contribute, you’ll have access to early releases of my videos/PSDs, downloadable content, exclusive Facebook groups, monthly hangouts, and more!
Stopping tutorials. Can’t dedicate time due to lack of funding. If you want tutorials to continue and get better, support my content on Patreon.
